Jamie Oliver, aka The Naked chef,  is a breath of fresh air in the UK cooking superstar scene. He burst onto the scene with his primetime BBC show and two cookery books, The Naked Chef and The Return of the Naked Chef. These are now supplemented by more books and his cookery Videos and DVDs. 

He says it is all about "basically stripping food back to the bare essentials" and specialises in informal food that can be enjoyed with friends - bold flavours with simple, fresh ingredients.

At times a Jamie Oliver recipe can be unconventional but you can be sure the end result will always be tasty and enjoyable.
