Although not strictly project management, this book provides a fascinating insight in to the way that that Bill Gates set-up the NT project recruiting Dave Cutler, fresh leading the team that created the VMS operating system for Digital's VAX computer line, and the various problems and triumphs along to road to the eventual first release. If you are an outsider and want to understand the Microsoft culture then this is probably the book for you.
